Symptoms

  • Decrease disease resistance resulting from stress
  • Some fish produce excessive mucus
  • Behavioral abnormalities and neurological signs
  • Anorexia (stop feeding)
  • Swim erratically
  • Opaque and the gills pale or swollen
  • Lethargy

Host (Common sp.)

  • All fish

Treatment Method

  • Decrease the PH of the water
  • Frequent change of water or increase the water flow
  • Avoid accumulation of excess feed
  • Adding fresh water
  • Reduce the stocking density in the tank
