Scientific Name : Danio kerri
Common Name : Blue danio
The maximum length of the fish is about 5.0 cm. (Doi, 1997). Males are smaller and more slender. Females are larger and significantly more rounded in appearance Danio kerri lives in freshwater benthopelagic areas and distributed in Asia, Malay Peninsula.
Ideal water quality parameters that the fish inhabit are pH: 6.5 - 7.0, DO: 5 – 12 and the temperature 23°C – 25°C (Riel and Baensch, 1991). As their small size and fluid swimming motion allow them to move effortlessly in and out of most densely environment.
