Scientific Name : Danio choprae
Common Name : Glow danio
Dark blue vertical bars can be found on its green body. The fins are translucent with the exception of the yellow tips at the ends of caudal fins (AquaInfo, 2007-2021) Males are more colorful. Females are larger than males and rounded and rounder bellied. Danio choprae lives in freshwater, benthopelagic, tropical areas and distributed in Asia, Irrawaddy in northern Myanmar. (CITES, 2017)
According to the IUCN data list Danio chopraeis least concern species and also a harmless species to human beings (CITES, 2017).
